Volunteers are integral to our organization. Our volunteers wear many different hats to help keep the DSNNN up and running. The DSNNN staff meet with each volunteer with the goal utilize their strengths and interests, maximize their potential, and to further help our programs and events. Volunteering areas include iCan Bike Camp, Buddy Walk, Club 21, Family Support Group, and administrative tasks.
We hope that you consider donating your time to help our mission. We have many fun opportunities waiting for you! If you would like to learn more, please contact Sherry Christopher or call (775) 828-5159 to set up an introduction meeting. Please note that meetings are not a commitment to volunteer, but a safe place to learn more about our organization and what opportunities are available to you.
Our success is measured in the number of people we can help with the quality of programs and services we provide. These programs are fueled by our dedicated staff, caring volunteers and generous donors like you.
