In 2005, parents of children with Down syndrome led by Diana Harvey saw a need in the community to support individuals with Down syndrome and their families in Northern Nevada. Although they started off small, our founders were passionate and committed to serving our community. Today, DSNNN is a 501(c)3 nonprofit with multiple programs, and staff and board dedicated to empowering individuals with Down syndrome and their families while creating a more inclusive community that values all members and their diverse contributions.
Our mission is to empower individuals with Down syndrome and their families to be fully included as balued members of our community.
News coverage is an opportunity to directly engage Northern Nevada about the Down syndrome community. Thank you for supporting our organization.
