The DSNNN hosts its annual Buddy Walk with the support of the NDSS, National Down Syndrome Society, to promote awareness and inclusion for people with Down syndrome and to raise funds for education, research and advocacy programs. Locally, the proceeds from our Buddy Walk help fund Family Gatherings, New Family Support, and community outreach.

The 2009 Buddy Walk has a new format from previous years.  We have changed locations and are starting earlier!  The 2009 event will focus on lots of Team Participation and competition for fun prizes!  Come on out to the Sparks Marina with your Team, and you can also bring chairs and a picnic lunch to enjoy after the Walk!
